2025 has been another impressive year for SUPAWOOD, with projects spanning residential, education, aged care, commercial workplaces, hospitality and community infrastructure. Across Australia, architects and designers have continued to push creative boundaries and SUPAWOOD linings have played a key role in shaping spaces that are warm, functional and acoustically refined. This year also marked the launch of TerraTough, our new mineral oxide board, expanding the material choices available for durable, high-performance interiors.
Greenhills Primary School, Victoria
In the education sector, the upgraded stadium at Greenhills Primary School became an acoustic centrepiece. SUPAWOOD linings were used to enhance sound control while supporting a strong visual identity creating a space that is a valued space for the school and the community. A student-led mural developed in collaboration with a local Aboriginal artist adds narrative depth, reinforcing the role of interior materials in storytelling and community connection.
2 Morell Street, Glen Iris
Glen Iris House, Victoria
A standout residential project for 2025 was the Glen Iris House, where SUPAWOOD MAXI BEAMS were used to create a sense of calm and connection throughout the home. The lightweight decorative beams introduced architectural rhythm and visual warmth while maintaining acoustic comfort, demonstrating how residential interiors can balance elegance with performance.
Laundry Warehouse, VIC
The Laundry Warehouse project in Brunswick East showcases how bold design and performance can coexist. Eye-catching bubble-patterned SUPACOUSTIC ceiling panels introduce playfulness as well as delivering effective sound absorption, transforming a highly reverberant industrial space into a lively yet comfortable environment.
Arcare Templestowe, VIC
At Arcare Templestowe, SUPAWOOD helped redefine expectations of aged care design. SUPASLAT slatted ceiling panels in Blackbutt bring warmth and a homely feel while improving acoustics in shared spaces. The result is an environment that supports comfort, dignity and wellbeing through considered material product choices.
Molong Community Hub, NSW
Community infrastructure remained a key focus, highlighted by the new Molong Community Hub. Curved MAXI BEAMS, along with SUPACOUSTIC and ALUCLICK systems, add visual drama while ensuring acoustic performance across the library, auditorium and flexible community areas. These elements help create inclusive spaces designed for daily use and long-term connection.
ACT Law Society, Canberra, ACT
In Canberra, the ACT Law Society office fitout demonstrated the power of restraint and refinement. A combination of SUPASLAT and SUPALINE panels in Tasmanian Oak and white finishes created a calm, professional workspace where acoustic control supports focus, collaboration and everyday functionality.
Morris Wines Cellar Door
Hospitality design also featured strongly in 2025, with Morris Wines Cellar Door and Whiskey Distillery using SUPASLAT panels in Virgin Walnut to shape an immersive tasting experience. The timber linings complement the vineyard setting while managing acoustics in social spaces, enhancing both atmosphere and comfort.
Qanstruct, VIC
At Qanstruct’s headquarters, SUPAWOOD’s SUPAMICRO micro-perforated panels in Spotted Gum transform the three-storey lobby into a striking yet acoustically controlled arrival space. The project demonstrates how detailed timber linings can deliver performance without compromising visual impact.
Together, these projects highlight how SUPAWOOD systems continue to support diverse design outcomes and address acoustics, performance and longevity. As we look ahead, we’re excited to keep collaborating with designers and builders to shape interiors that work better for people and places.
