The new Cabonne Community Centre in Molong, New South Wales, provides the local community with a contemporary, multifunctional hub with a range of flexible spaces. Designed by King & Campbell architects, the building features a modern auditorium, a state-of-the-art library, exhibition areas, and a commercial kitchen – all seamlessly integrated to support a variety of activities and visitors.
SUPAWOOD played a key role in bringing the design vision to life by supplying high-quality finishes and architectural lining systems throughout the facility. Curved MAXI BEAMs add a striking visual element and acoustic comfort to the auditorium space, creating a warm and inviting environment. ALUCLICK and SUPACOUSTIC systems were incorporated in selected areas, providing both visual enhancement and improved acoustic performance for all users.
King & Campbell chose a combination of Blackbutt and White SUPAFINISH colours to complement the centre’s modern yet welcoming aesthetic.
The Cabonne Community Centre is now a vibrant, versatile space that brings people together, reflecting thoughtful design and a commitment to community needs. The success of the project is also a result of outstanding teamwork from all stakeholders.
“In particular, Joss Group were an amazing customer to work with”, added SUPAWOOD Project Manager, Jason Ferguson.
