Standard Blade Options and Sizes

Ripple, Wave, Random

WAVE BLADE can be customised to your design.

To make it easy for you, we have created some extremely adaptable CONCEPT CREATORS

  • Ripple, for radial patterns
  • Wave, for relatively linear patterns and
  • Random, for a fully random purlin noise pattern

These concept creators, not only greatly simplify the modelling process, but also enable immediate generation of pricing, spec wording and even a model for download and inclusion in your project.

Alternatively you can create your own fully custom design.

The best way to allow SUPAWOOD to create the production drawings is to supply a NURBS surface to SUPAWOOD, which we can then slice into blades.

    WAVE BLADE: RIPPLE

    WAVE BLADE: WAVE

    WAVE BLADE: RANDOM

    Recommended Blade Sizes & Spacings

SUPAWOOD recommend utilising the CONCEPT CREATORS so you can see the implications of variations in ceiling height, blade spacings and Max and Min depths since these all interact with viewing angle.

    Optimal Maximum Depths:

    • 140mm
    • 190mm
    • 290mm
    • 390mm

    Blade Thickness:

    • 18mm (19mm for SUPAVENEER)

    Minimum Depth:

    • 100mm
    • We recommend that this is 50% of maximum blade depth

    Minimum Blade Spacing:

    • 150mm

Please contact SUPAWOOD for further customisation options.
