The redevelopment of Newgreens Chatswood Golf Club is a contemporary reimagining of a well-known Sydney hospitality destination, delivering an environment where dining, leisure and community come together. Completed in October 2025, the project transformed the clubhouse into a welcoming, modern space that balances visual warmth, acoustic comfort and long-term durability.
Designed by Team 2 Interior Design and constructed by Parkview Constructions, the project called for interior linings that could adapt to varied spaces throughout the venue while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic. SUPAWOOD was selected to support this vision, providing a suite of architectural lining solutions that deliver both design flexibility and reliable performance.
A combination of SUPAWOOD systems was installed by LJ Interiors across the clubhouse including acoustic linings to enhance comfort within the hospitality and lounge spaces, solid wall linings to provide durability in high-traffic areas and custom curved elements to create moments of visual interest at key touchpoints such as in the reception area. In addition, a combination of Blackbutt and Driftwood Blackwashed tones were used to bring natural warmth and texture to the interiors without compromising consistency or maintenance requirements.
The ability to source multiple products, finishes and custom solutions from a single supplier helped streamline coordination for the project team, while ensuring a consistent level of quality across all areas. SUPAWOOD’s capability to deliver curved and detailed elements also supported the design intent, enabling fluid forms and refined detailing to be realised with confidence.
The result is a contemporary clubhouse that feels both elevated and approachable and a space that welcomes members and guests. Through considered material selection and dependable delivery, SUPAWOOD’s architectural linings contributed to an interior that is built to last, adaptable in design and aligned with the evolving needs of modern hospitality environments.
